"We showed up at the Occidental offices with a confirmed meeting with representatives from the Occidental offices in Ecuador ~ and as we arrived, members of effected communities began to arrive as well. We spent a few moments talking with them and then we took four representatives from the effected communities, myself, Atossa (Soltani), from Amazon Watch, and another member of Amazon Watch to go and have the meeting that was scheduled ~ there was a total of seven of us. As we walked up to the doors, the doors were locked from the inside, kind of like they did today ~ and we met with the security guards and said ' We have a confirmed meeting. Will you please check with the representatives of Occidental?' "
